/ Why customers send us their metal parts

Five metal shops, one supplier.

Most manufacturers we work with were juggling five or ten metal suppliers. A CNC shop in Ohio for one bracket. A laser house in Wisconsin for another. A welder down the road for a third. Each with their own minimums, lead times, quality systems, and excuses when something slips.

Ena Source consolidates that. You send us your drawings. We quote the part. When we win the business, we own the supplier behind it. You buy the part from us. We handle the supply chain. Sourcing, negotiating, qualifying, scheduling, inspecting, importing, warehousing if you need it. Your job stops being procurement and goes back to being building product.

Our flagship is CNC machined parts. Prototype through production, tight tolerances, every common engineering metal. We complement that with laser cut sheet metal, welded fabrications, and finished components so you get the full part, not just the raw geometry. Domestic, near-shore, or offshore. You tell us your priorities. We build the supply plan around them.

You might be a fit if

  • You buy custom metal parts and have too many suppliers to track
  • Your quotes are slow and your pricing has not been benchmarked in years
  • A single supplier failure would stop your line
  • You need a dual source between US and overseas suppliers
  • Procurement is a part-time job for someone whose real job is engineering
Capabilities

Built around CNC machined parts.

CNC machining is our flagship. We back it with laser cutting, welded fabrications, and finishing so you get the full part, not just the raw geometry.

How it works

From drawing to delivered metal.

A simple, repeatable process for getting custom metal parts on your dock.

01

Send your part

Email a drawing, STEP file, sample, or even a sketch. Tell us volume and target lead time.

02

Quote in 24 hours

We match it to the right supplier in our network and come back with a quote, lead time, and any DFM feedback.

03

Sample & approve, if needed

First-article samples or PPAP when the part calls for it. You sign off before production runs. Skipped when sampling does not add value.

04

Production & supply

You send us a PO. We manage the supplier, scheduling, inspection, logistics, and customs. The part shows up on your dock.

05

Continuous improvement

We watch for second-source opportunities, cost takeouts, and quality wins on every recurring part.

Why Ena Source

We are a supplier. Not a broker.

We are not a broker or a manufacturer's rep. When you buy a custom metal part from Ena Source, you buy it from Ena Source. We own the supplier relationship behind every part.

One source

One PO. One invoice. One phone number.

Consolidate dozens of metal suppliers into a single relationship. Less admin, less risk, less to chase.

Vetted network

Domestic and overseas suppliers we trust.

We source from American manufacturers first. When that does not fit, we lean on a global network we have already qualified.

24-hour quotes

Standard parts quoted within one business day.

You should not have to wait a week to know what your part costs.

Dual sourcing

Built-in resilience for critical components.

We can pair a domestic supplier with an offshore alternative so tariff policy or weather never decides whether your product ships.

Quality oversight

Inspection, PPAP, certifications managed.

We hold the supplier accountable to your spec. You get parts that pass incoming inspection on the first pass.

Inventory programs

Stocked components when it makes sense.

We can warehouse and release on a pull-system to smooth lead times and protect cash flow.

Frequently Asked

Custom metal parts, answered.

What customers ask before sending us their first metal part.

What types of custom metal parts does Ena Source supply?
CNC machined parts are our flagship. We also supply laser cut sheet metal parts, welded metal fabrications, and finished metal components (plating, anodizing, powder coat, heat treat). We source from a vetted network of machine shops and fabricators across the United States, North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.
What metals do you work with?
All common engineering metals: carbon steel, stainless steel (300 and 400 series), aluminum (2000, 5000, 6000, 7000 series), brass, bronze, copper, titanium, Inconel and other nickel alloys, and tool steels. If your drawing calls for it, we can quote it.
What is the minimum order quantity for custom metal parts?
It depends on the process. Prototype CNC machined parts can start at a single piece. Stamped and cast parts typically require larger production runs to be economical because of tooling. We will tell you upfront what is realistic for your part and your volume.
How fast can Ena Source quote a custom metal part?
Standard parts with complete drawings: 24 hours. Complex parts, parts with engineering ambiguity, or parts requiring special certifications may take longer. We tell you the expected turnaround on the same day you send the inquiry.
Can you source domestically (made in USA) metal parts?
Yes. We source from American manufacturers first whenever it is feasible on price, lead time, and capacity. When domestic does not make sense, we use vetted overseas partners. Many customers ask us to build dual-source programs that pair a US supplier with an offshore alternative for resilience.
Do you handle quality inspection and certifications?
Yes. We run incoming inspection, PPAP where required, and coordinate certifications including material certs, ISO 9001, AS9100, and IATF 16949 depending on your industry. We hold suppliers accountable to your specifications, not just our own.
