/ The decisions that matter in plastic

Pick the right resin. Pick the right tool. Get the part.

Custom plastic parts are a category where small decisions add up fast. The wrong resin and the part cracks in the field. The wrong tooling shop and you wait six months to launch. The wrong mold flow and you fight short shots forever. Most manufacturers we work with want a partner who has seen those mistakes already and steers them away.

Ena Source consolidates plastic sourcing. You send us your drawings. We quote the part, recommend a resin if you are not sure, and flag DFM issues before you cut tooling. When we win the business, we own the supplier behind it. You buy the part from us. We handle the supply chain. Tooling, molding, machining, finishing, inspecting, importing, warehousing if you need it.

We source injection molded parts, machined plastic parts, thermoformed enclosures, extruded profiles, and fabricated assemblies in everything from commodity polypropylene to PEEK. From prototype quantities through full production. Domestic, near-shore, or offshore. You tell us your priorities. We build the supply plan around them.

You might be a fit if

  • You buy custom plastic parts and are managing tooling across multiple shops
  • You are not sure your resin selection is optimal for cost and performance
  • Your molder is slow to quote, slow to deliver, or quietly raising prices
  • You need DFM input before you cut steel
  • You want one supply contact instead of three molders and a machine shop
Capabilities

Tooling, molding, machining, finishing.

From a single prototype to a million-piece annual program. Here are the categories we supply the most.

01

Injection molded parts

Single and multi-cavity tooling. Engineering and commodity resins. Inserts, over-molding, two-shot when needed.

02

CNC machined plastic parts

Milled and turned plastic parts in PEEK, PTFE, Delrin, polycarbonate, nylon. Prototype through low-volume production.

03

Thermoformed parts

Vacuum and pressure formed enclosures, trays, covers. Large parts at lower tooling cost than injection.

04

Extruded profiles

Custom plastic profile extrusions for trim, gaskets, channels, tubing. Cut to length, drilled, finished.

05

Plastic fabrications

Cut, formed, welded, bonded plastic assemblies. Sheet stock conversions for tanks, ducts, and enclosures.

06

Tooling & molds

Domestic or offshore mold sourcing. Validation, PPAP, ongoing maintenance. We hold the supplier accountable.

07

Over-molding & inserts

Metal-to-plastic over-molding, threaded inserts, two-shot soft-touch. For functional assemblies that ship as one part.

08

Decorating & finishing

Pad printing, hot stamping, in-mold decoration, painting, plating, ultrasonic welding. Coordinated as part of the supply.

Materials

Common resins we source.

Engineering and commodity grades, including filled and specialty compounds. If your drawing calls for it, we can quote it.

How it works

From resin pick to delivered plastic.

A simple, repeatable process for getting custom plastic parts on your dock.

01

Send your part

Email a drawing, STEP file, sample, or even a sketch. Tell us volume and target lead time.

02

Quote in 24 hours

We match it to the right molder or shop in our network and come back with a quote, lead time, and DFM feedback.

03

Tool & sample

If injection molded, we manage tooling. Otherwise straight to first-article samples. You sign off before production.

04

Production & supply

You PO Ena Source. We manage the supplier, scheduling, inspection, logistics, and customs. The part shows up.

05

Continuous improvement

We watch for resin alternatives, cost takeouts, and tool maintenance windows on every recurring part.

Why Ena Source

Plastic done right is a supplier problem.

We are not a broker or a manufacturer's rep. When you buy a custom plastic part from Ena Source, you buy it from Ena Source. We own the supplier relationship behind every part.

One source

One PO. One invoice. One phone number.

Consolidate molders, machine shops, and finishers into a single relationship. Less admin, less risk, less to chase.

Vetted network

Molders and shops we trust.

We source from American molders first. When that does not fit, we lean on a global network we have already qualified.

24-hour quotes

Standard parts quoted within one business day.

You should not have to wait a week to know what your plastic part costs.

DFM expertise

Catch tooling mistakes before you cut steel.

Resin selection, draft, wall thickness, gating, parting line. We push back when something will not mold well.

Tooling ownership

You own your tools. Always.

Tooling is yours when paid for. We manage maintenance and can move tools between shops when it serves you.

Inventory programs

Stocked components when it makes sense.

We can warehouse and release on a pull-system to smooth lead times and protect cash flow.

Frequently Asked

Custom plastic parts, answered.

What customers ask before sending us their first plastic part.

What types of custom plastic parts does Ena Source supply?
We supply injection molded parts, CNC machined plastic parts, thermoformed parts, extruded profiles, vacuum formed parts, and fabricated plastic assemblies. We source globally and qualify the supplier for every part.
What plastic resins do you work with?
Engineering and commodity grade: ABS, polycarbonate, nylon (including glass-filled), POM (Delrin), PEEK, Ultem (PEI), PPS, polypropylene, polyethylene (HDPE, UHMW), PVC, PETG, PTFE, and TPE/TPU. If your drawing specifies a resin, we can quote it.
Can you handle injection mold tooling?
Yes. We manage tooling sourcing, validation, PPAP, and ongoing tool maintenance. Tooling can be domestic for fast iteration or offshore for cost. We help you choose based on volume, tolerance, and timing. You own the tool when it is paid for.
What is the minimum order quantity for custom plastic parts?
Machined plastic prototypes can start at one piece. Injection molded parts require tooling investment, so the economic minimum depends on geometry and resin. We will give you tooling, piece price, and break-even numbers when we quote.
How fast can Ena Source quote a custom plastic part?
Standard parts with complete drawings: 24 hours. Tooling-intensive parts or parts requiring DFM review may take longer, but we acknowledge every inquiry within one business day and give you an honest turnaround time.
Can you source FDA, USP Class VI, or UL-listed plastic parts?
Yes. We source food-contact, medical-grade (USP Class VI), and UL-rated plastic parts when your spec requires it. We coordinate material certifications and process documentation with the supplier.
